Due to continuous growth and expansion of our business, our remanufacturing department are seeking hardworking team members to operate our vertical finger jointing line, within our brand new plant. These are nightshift positions with hours from 4.30pm – 3.00am Monday – Thursday (with overtime as required).

The successful applicant must be a fast learner who is comfortable using technology and automated machinery. You must have the ability to trouble shoot and find faults, work well in a team and actively share in our strong focus on health and safety. The successful candidate will be self-motivated with a strong work ethic, keen to learn and have the ability to work unsupervised.

Industrial Electrician

The Role:
This is an excellent opportunity to join our passionate and dynamic maintenance team. We are currently seeking a self-motivated and solutions focused electrician who can hit the ground running in our brand new, state of the art Remanufacturing plant. Reporting to the Reman Manager, this position is full of variety and involves everything from x-ray scanning to changing a light bulb. You will be responsible for the electrical service and maintenance of industrial plant, performance of breakdown repairs, fault finding and diagnosis and various project work.

 

The Person:
This is an exceptional opportunity for someone who is innovative, thrives on autonomy and wants to grow their career.  You will also have:

  • Demonstrated experience within an automated industrial or manufacturing environment
  • NZ  electrical qualification (full EWRB)
  • Strong fault finding capabilities and problem solving abilities
  • Previous experience with PLC’s and servo/smart motor drives would be advantageous 
  • Hold H&S in high regard
  • Have the ability to do some on call work
  • Highly motivated, committed, team focused, and able to think outside the box
